Hi Susan,
Denim would be great. We love your hipperbibs and especially the larger size since Noah is almost 6. Hope that life is not too stressful for you.  Noah's sister was diagnosed with Batten Disease too in case I didn't tell you. She and her twin, Emily, were 4 last Monday. Emily is unaffected.
I read the book, "Have a Little Faith" by Mitchell Albom and my new motto from that book is "Fall in love with hope".
Thank you for your wonderful kerchiefs. God bless you and your family.
Noah's Mamo,
Jacque

They are for a girl. They will blend in with her school uniform! I think the white trim would be ok. If the navy trim is just a little off that's fine. We just want them to blend in with her school uniform shirts as much as possible. Thanks!,....................

No problem. I hope it os not too much trouble! She is at the age that it is embarrassing to her that she drools and other kids in her class refer to her as a baby if she wears a bib.............................................

I don't think they realize that it hurts her feelings, they are all young. Here is a pic of her, she has Cp...........................

Hi Susan,

I just placed an order for 15 bibs from your site, but forgot to put a note in Paypal for the free one I wanted -- I would love to get the red bandanna, number 1383, in medium. Thank you!

I came across your website with a random Google search, and I'm so glad I did. I have a 2.5-year-old son, Kevan, with severe oral motor delays, possible apraxia, and also sensory processing disorder. He drools like crazy, and we go through a dozen bibs a day. Thus far, I've really liked the Bubzee bibs (http://www.practicalcreations.com/), but they don't have a waterproof layer, and they're really better for meals than for drooling. Also, they look like a big towel, and I want something, well, hipper. (Plus we've used ours so much that they're falling apart.)

I'm so looking forward to receiving your bibs! Kevan goes to preschool a couple hours a week, and he has enough challenges without having to deal with soaked shirts, too.

Thank you again!

Hi,

I am very excited to try your bibs for my seven year old daughter. I have searched for a long time looking for bibs that would be absorbent and work well with her clothes. She drools A LOT!!!!! I have to change her bib every 30 mins, and sometimes her clothes as well. Do you think the terry bib will work the best? I tried one type of terry bib before and it didn't work at all.

Thanks

Linda

Thank you! My husband is in China adopting our 4 year old daughter with CP. I recieved a $100 rewards card from our bank which I registered online, but still am unable to use. It will not work for some reason. I plan to purchase bibs later during this week. using our regular card. Hopefully my husband can get the rewards card straightened out after he returns home.

Thank you,

Hi Susan,

Thanks for letting me know they are in the mail.  I'm excited to get them and try them out on my daughter.  Now that she's almost 4, I wanted to try something different than a standard toddler bib.

Thanks!

Hi Susan!

So good to hear from you.  Please do replace the large gGrape Taffyh with another comparable ggirlieh pattern.  My little friend wears teal and lime green quite a bit lately, but Ifm sure any one that would be close would be fine.  We are in dire need as our friend has been pretty wet here and the washcloth & wipe thing just isnft cutting it.  I trust you to pick one and surprise me. : )  I was so excited to find your site and look forward to trying the bibs.

Thanks Much

Hi,
I received the Hipper Bib I wanted to try.  I thought it was really good quality and seems to work out very well for my son.  I went on and ordered 10 more.  I ordered one for a friend to try also.  I would like to have the Race Cars style in Ages 6-13 for my free one.
Thank you,

Hi Susan - I ordered some medium sized bibs off your site this morning.  I'm excited to have found you and your design.  How long does it typically take for the bibs to ship?  I wasn't sure if you made to order or had them in stock and wanted to plan accordingly.

Thank you for making something like this - to assist our kiddos with their needs while keeping their pride :)  my daughter is only 3, but she sure likes to be part of the group, not different.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi- I just placed an online order for 3 bibs and as I pressed the submit button I noticed that the soccer bib I ordered was listed as a small. I forgot to check the appropriate size but I would like that one a large as well.  Thanks so much! I am so excited to try these for my son! I think I have found the answer to our wet shirt problems!

Thanks Susan! I'll see how these bibs work for us and possibly I'll place another order. I appreciate all the beautiful prints and sizes that the bibs come in. My daughter Molly has a form a Lissencephaly (smooth brain) and drools alot. She is almost eleven and the bibs that you offer look more grown up for her. Thanks for being so creative!

Take care,

Thanks Susan for picking an alternate cute bib! Actually our conference is in Virginia, just outside Washington DC. Where are you? That is so wonderful that you'll make 10 bibs for our auction - a few in each size? Yes - girl styles definitely. You can either enclose cards and handouts with the bibs, or email us and we'll print them. Would you send them before May 15th to: IRSF - conference auction

We'll put together a nice display for you!

Thank you again - if I ever meet Oprah, I'll mention you!

Hi Susan,

I cannot tell you enough how much we are loving the bibs! J They have been a big hit at school this week!

I really think you would get some business through our Conference in May. I understand traveling there is not an option, but would you consider sending a handful of bibs and your business cardscas well as any literature you may have. I know you would appreciate the businesscand I would love to share these with all the families (we have approximately 250 families who attend). Drooling is a problem in Rett syndromecso these are needed.

Let me know! Thank you!

I just wanted to say I am such a fan of the bibs! I work with Special Needs clients and they have been raving about them. I was wondering if you are going to put up the adult bibs anytime soon.

Keep up the good work.

We received the bibs we ordered. They are working out great. My daughter-in-law loves the triangle shapes, but....Grandma here has a few suggestions that you might want to consider.

Girly, girly, bibs, a little lace maybe some rounded (little girls don't want to look like little boys)

bibs for the holiday (again, us girls have to dress the season !!) I was particulary looking for valentine hearts to go with a new outfit !

We will be ordering more.

Does your 1 free count on adding up to 10 or all on one order?

Please email me at beckyscott2@att.net. I am not sure which server this will go out on.

Many blessings on you and your family. Becky Scott Houston, TX

If you need testimony for your website, let me know!!

Good morning,

I am requesting that you ship the bibs that I ordered yesterday asap !! My granddaughter Jenna, just started school and her teachers have requested that she wear bibs. we need your cute bibs instead of yucky terry cloth ones !! They look really cute on-line, so we are hopeful that they are as cute in "real life". If they work out, we will be ordering lots

more! Thanks and many blessings today!

Hi again,
I just placed another order on your website, I went ahead and ordered the large size since I think Jack needs them to be a little longer (you know---his drool can fly all over the place!)    We really love them, I actually love to put them on him when we go out!

I'm also reminding you that you were going to send us one of your new bibs too!!  Thanks so much!  I've already told so many people about your website, we get compliments on Jack's bibs just about every time he has them on!

thanks so much,

Hi,
I just wanted to let you know that we love your bibs!  My son is Jack and he also has Angelman Syndrome..so I got your website from the Angelman Listserv...we ordered 4 and we just love them...I'm asking my mom to order more for Christmas.
Jack is 3 1/2, and I have gotten to the point that I hate to see him in baby bibs, because he is just not a baby anymore, so these are perfect, and look so cute...we get so many compliments on them, and of course I'm glad to be giving our business to a fellow AS mom!

thanks,
Amy Gerhardt

I just ordered 2 bibs from you, I was so glad to find your site, I just googled special needs bibs, wow. My daughter is 15 and has Rett syndrome, somewhat similar to Angelman, some girls are mistakenly diagnosed with Angelman. Anyway, thanks for making these, it will be nice to have some 'cool' bibs at school. We currently don't use any, just hold up a washcloth pretty much, so these will be way more stylin'.

Thank you,

Ms Winfrey,

I absolutely love your bibs. I'm stocking up! My daughter Danika is 19 months old (AS Del+). Without just plain plastic, we can't find a bib that will keep her neck and clothes dry. This one looks great. I was going through the AS forum...there are tons of threads I never saw, and I saw your posting. Thanks for putting it there and thanks for being so creative for little Angels.

Special Needs Bibs- follow up!

I blogged about special needs bibs, from The Hipper Bib back in November.  Well, that was before I had received my bibs! My 2 bibs came in the mail last week- I love them. They are kerchief style (really sweet), big boy prints for my big boy! They are really well made, and I haven't washed them yet, but I think they are going to wash great. The bibs are reversable- and one of the sides is flannel (which I love), and the waterproof layer is in between.

If you're looking for a waterproof alternative to a 'baby bib' for a BIG special needs boy or girl, these are great!
Although she is focusing on the special needs market on her website, these are also adorable for non-special needs kids. They would make a fantastic gift.

On a personal note, I've gotten to know the business owner a bit the past few months (she has a child with Angelman Syndrome too) and I've really enjoyed dealing with her. I think you'll be pleased with the customer service too

Hello!
I just wanted to let you know I found your website on the AS listserv and I just ordered two bibs to try. They look so much better than others I have found - thanks for making them :-)
Your idea about having something on them for chewing is fabulous!!! We currently use a washcloth-like product (don't remember the brand name) with 4 rubber corners. They are terrific as my son can chew on the corners but the material of the washcloth absorbs much of the drool. My son, Garrett, loves them but he drops them and they get so grimy so quickly as the drool on them picks up all the dirt on the ground when he drops them. Also, they only come in cutesy-wootsie designs - baby barn yard animals and the such.
So, please let me know when you have a bandana style bib with the pointed corner in rubber :-) Also, please keep in mind, the older kids (and adults) who need these do not want the cutsie designs - so maybe some just plain colors would be nice too - that way they draw even less attention and may blend in more with whatever shirt they are wearing. Look forward to getting the bibs!

The Hipper Bib- a great bib alternative for individuals with special needs!

I was contacted today by the owner of a business- a mom who also started a company because of her son who has the same disorder as mine (Angelman Syndrome). I'm really glad that she contacted me, because she is offering a product that I myself have looked for to purchase, and I've thought about making for my son (but have no time!).

Her sweet little son Ian inspired her (out of necessity) to produce a functional, yet flattering bib, called the HIPPER BIB. And hip it is! The bibs are kerchief style, are reversable and have a waterproof middle layer, preventing ooey food, drinks and ookey stuff from our drooly kids from getting through. What I particularly like about this product is obviously the waterproof layer, but also the kerchief style (looks a bit less baby, and more 'big boy') and I love the big boy/big girl prints she is using. She is also able to do custom orders, and larger adult sized kerchiefs will be added soon to the product line.
As a parent of a special needs child AND a business owner, I love this product. I also understand the importance of growing your business through customer feedback. If you love this product, or maybe are wondering if she could adapt this product for you, go ahead and ask! Customer feedback is great for growing business and developing products.
Don't forget that these would make a great gift for ANYONE having a baby. Check out the
HIPPER BIB website for more bib features and to order.
